Match the black and
white direction arrows
on both platform con-
trol panel and the chas-
sis to determine the
direction the machine
will travel.

Push and release the Drive Orientation Over-
ride switch. Within 3 seconds, slowly move
the Drive control toward the arrow matching
the intended direction of machine travel. The
indicator light will flash during the 3 second
interval until the drive function is selected.
Traveling on a Grade
When traveling a grade, maximum braking and traction are obtained
with the boom stowed, in position over the rear (drive) axle, and in
line with the direction of travel. Drive the machine forward when
climbing a grade, and in reverse when descending a grade. Do not
exceed the machine's maximum rated gradability.
IF THE BOOM IS OVER THE FRONT (STEER) AXLE, DIRECTION OF STEER AND DRIVE
MOVEMENT WILL BE OPPOSITE FROM THE MOVEMENT OF THE CONTROLS.
