Positioning and Leveling Machine
1.
Position machine under work area on a firm, level, and uni -
form supporting surface.
2. Ensure ALL four wheels are in contact with the supporting
surface. Lock the front castor wheels to prevent the machine
from rolling.
3. Ensure the bubble level indicator is centered and machine is
level.
Entering/Exiting the Platform
DO NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM PLATFORM CAPACITY. MAXIMUM CAPACITY INCLUDES PER -
SONNEL IN PLATFORM PLUS WEIGHT IN TOOL TRAY OR ANY OTHER WEIGHT PLACED IN
PLATFORM.
1.
Always maintain “three point contact” with the machine by
using two hands and one foot or two feet and one hand at
all times during entry and exit.
2.
Close and latch entry gate after entering.
3.
Attach lanyard to one of the lanyard attachments on the
platform floor below the platform control panel or next to
the entry gate.
4.
When the operator is in the platform with entry gate fully
closed and lanyard attached, the machine is ready for opera -
tion.
BEFORE OPERATING PLATFORM,CHECK AROUND AND OVERHEAD FOR ANY OBSTACLES OR
PERSONNEL THAT MAY COME INTO CONTACT WITH MACHINE WHILE ELEVATING OR LOW -
ERING PLATFORM. IF NECESSARY, EXIT MACHINE AND REPOSITION BEFORE PROCEEDING.
5.
Before exiting the platform, ensure platform is fully lowered.
