3.1.1
Test function
In a measurement period, JK2830 can test two parameters for an impedance
component. Parameters that can be tested are as follows:
Primary parameters
◼
|Z| (Module of impedance)
◼
|Y| (Module of admittance)
◼
L (Inductance)
◼
C (Capacitance)
◼
R (Resistance)
◼
G (Conductance)
◼
DCR (DC resistance)
Secondary Parameters
◼
D (Dissipation factor)
◼
Q (Quality factor)
◼
Rs (Equivalent Series Resistance ESR)
◼
Rp (Equivalent Parallel Resistance)
◼
X (Reactance)
◼
B (Admittance)
◼
θ (Phase Angle)
Test results of primary and secondary parameters are respectively displayed in
two lines in the form of upper-case characters. The primary parameter displays in
the upper line while the secondary parameter displays in the lower line.
