JVM-407B Operating system update
Operating system update via USB
A USB flash drive lets you transfer an OS file to the device JVM-407B.

An OS file for the JVM-407B is available.
 The operating system of the JVM-407B is running.

The controller must not be de-energized during the OS update process.
The batch file autostart.bat must have the following contents:

To update the OS, proceed as follows:
Step Action
1 Copy the OS file to your USB flash drive. This drive must be FAT
formatted.
2 Create a batch file on the USB flash drive and name it autostart.bat . For
contents of the batch file autostart.bat see above.
3 Replace all entries jvm_ce0_1.00.0.04 with the actual name of the OS file.
4 Insert the USB flash drive into the JVM-407B. This can be done while the
device is running.
Result: The OS is being installed.
