Heartbeat monitoring
The heartbeat protocol is for monitoring the activity of communication
partners. If the inactivity exceeds the set interval (Heartbeat consumer time),
the status is set to
offline
.
The application program lets you define heartbeat functions, such as
Displaying information to the user
Rebooting the device
Ignoring process data
Heartbeat monitoring
is available only for specific devices and its availability
depends on the OS version.
