9 Remote control (optional)
9.1 Hand-held remote control (for standard systems)
If a hand-held remote control is connected to the remote control socket on the back (see also 11.2 Circuit
diagram on page EN
17), the welding current can only be adjusted using the hand-held remote control. The
“+” and “−” buttons on the control panel are disabled.
9.2 Foot-operated remote control (for standard systems)
If the foot-operated remote control is connected to the remote control socket on the back (see also
11.2 Circuit diagram on page EN
17), the maximum current is adjusted using the “+” and “−” buttons on
the control panel. The foot-operated remote control can then only be used to switch between the minimum
current and the set maximum current. The device is also automatically switched to the TIG 2-cycle operating
mode. The device is automatically started when the foot-operated remote control is pressed, without needing
an extra start contact. It is also switched off again when the control is released.
