INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Modulinear (ML2 LED Fixture – New Construction)
Important Safety Instructions:

Read all instructions before installing this luminaire.

To prevent risk of electrical shock, turn off electricity at the fuse box before proceeding.

This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable NEC and Local codes by a person
familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.

Do not install insulation within 3 inches (76mm) of any part of this luminaire.
-
Blinking light of this thermally protected luminaire may indicate overheating.
-
Maximum of (6) 12AWG thru branch conductors suitable for 90
°
C permitted in wiring box.
-
Suitable for damp locations.

Cut appropriately sized opening in ceiling

Attach the two “L” Brackets to the bottom of the fixture (facing the room), using the two screws
located at either end. Larger “L” Bracket should be installed on the end with the wiring box, and
smaller “L” Bracket should be installed on the other end as shown. (Use the Hex Wrench to tighten
the Hex nuts if necessary)

Mount Butterfly Brackets to the vertical slots on the “L” Brackets. The mounting studs should pass
through the slots and assembled with the Wing Nuts and Washers provided. (For Flat hanger bar,
use the vertical slots along the two edges of the Butterfly Brackets. For ½” Conduit or “C” Channel
Bar, use the larger openings).

Use the 3mm Hex Key to adjust the mounting height of the LED compartment if necessary. Fixture
height can be adjusted by loosening the four socket head screws inside the fixture. Proper
mounting height is achieved when the edges of the LED compartment are flush with the bottom of
the ceiling.
6.
Important:
Attach the Safety Cables securely to the building, then connect the fixture wires to the
building wires. Ensure that the Thermal Protector is properly wired, since an improper connection
could result in the fixture overheating.
