Viewing IP Configuration of the PC using IPCONFIG
The current IP configuration of the PC network adapter may be viewed using
an application called ‘IPCONFIG.EXE’. The ‘IPCONFIG.EXE’ application is
installed on any PC with XP or Vista networking enabled. If there is more than
one network adapter in the PC, the user will have to identify which adapter is
connected to the T464.
To use ‘IPCONFIG.EXE’ to view the current IP configuration of the network
adapter(s) on a PC:
•
Select the RUN option by clicking ‘Start’, then clicking ‘Run’
•
In the RUN box type ‘CMD’ to open a Command Window.
•
Click inside the Command Window
•
Type ‘IPCONFIG /ALL’ (without quotes) and hit Enter
The following panel shows typical output to the Command Window:
