SINGLE-LEVEL AIRCRAFT PROTECTION SYSTEM
Tractors equipped with a single-level Aircraft Protection System will include the following
controls:

Fender-mounted Winch control (1):

Yellow Torque Caution Light (4):
This light illuminates and an alarm sounds when the
towing operation exceeds the configured maximum safe torque for the aircraft being towed.
The alarm stops sounding and the light turns off when the torque falls below the safe
maximum. You may continue the towing operation.

Red Torque Warning Light (5):
This light illuminates and an alarm sounds when the towing
operation exceeds a level that could damage the aircraft nose landing gear. If this happens,
