6.3
EXITING THE TRACTOR
If you need to temporarily exit the vehicle, such as when capturing or releasing an aircraft:
1. Press the Brake Pedal to apply the brakes, until the vehicle comes to a complete stop.
2. Pull the Parking Brake Knob up to engage the Parking Brake, and then verify that the red
Brake Pressure Warning Light is ON.
3. Turn the Motive Power Switch counterclockwise to turn it OFF.
Note
This procedure is intended to temporarily secure the tractor. See
for instructions on how to shut down the tractor at the end
of the shift or operating period.
