Step by Step Instructions
The following steps will take you through the process of sanitizing your non basement
water system. If you have further questions, consult with your independent, authorized
dealer.
1. Drain the water tank, water lines and water heater completely by opening all
faucets and low point drains until the tank and heater are empty.
2. In a large bucket prepare a chlorine solution, using 3/4 cup of household bleach
and three (3) gallons (12 liters) of water.
3. Place the clear intake hose into the bucket of chlorine solution.
4. Determine if you want to sanitize only the water lines, or the water lines and the
tank. Verify that the water system valves are set up correctly for the function you
wish to perform and your specific unit based on the tables of information listed
previously.
