Allow appliance to warm up to
room temperature if neces-
sary.
The machine must be
switched off: press the
"on/off” button briefly.
Hold down the "espresso"
and "extra large cup" buttons
for at least 3 sec.
Remove and empty water
tank.
Evaporation starts.
Wait until evaporation is
finished and the machine
switches off.
Re-insert the empty water
tank.
Dry front of appliance by wip-
ing with a cloth.
Evaporating the residual
water
This function evaporates and
thus removes residual water
from inside the appliance. This pre-
vents residual water from leaking out
or freezing inside the machine.
Risk of scalding!
The steam can reach a tem-
perature of up to 120 °C. Do not
reach under the spout. Keep ade-
quate distance from the spout.
Evaporating the residual wa-
ter takes max. 2 minutes.
