DTC P0826 MANUAL MODE SWITCH CIRCUIT

CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN TCM AND A/T DEVICE (MANUAL MODE SWITCH)
1.
Turn ignition switch “OFF”.
2.
Disconnect the TCM connector.
3.
Check the continuity between TCM connector terminals 5, 6, 16,
19 and ground.
4.
If OK, check harness for short-circuit to ground or power source.
OK or NG
OK >> GO
TO
4.
NG
>> GO TO 3.
3.
DETECT MALFUNCTIONING ITEM
Check the following.
●
Open or short-circuit in the harness between TCM and A/T device (manual mode switch).
●
Open or short-circuit in the harness for ground of manual mode switch.
●
AT-591, "Component Inspection"
.
OK or NG
OK
>> GO TO 4.
NG
>> Repair or replace damaged parts.
4.
CHECK DTC
Perform “DTC Confirmation Procedure”. Refer to
AT-586, "DTC Confirmation Procedure"
.
OK or NG
OK
>> INSPECTION END
NG
>> GO TO 5.
5.
CHECK TCM
1.
Check TCM input/output signal. Refer to
AT-459, "TCM Input/Output Signal Reference Values"
2.
If NG, recheck TCM pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.

>> INSPECTION END

>> Repair or replace damaged parts.
