Remove O-rings from servo piston retainer.

CAUTION:

Do not reuse O-rings.

10. Remove D-rings from band servo piston.

CAUTION:

Do not reuse D-rings.

INSPECTION
Pistons, Retainers and Piston Stem

●

Check frictional surfaces for abnormal wear or damage.

Return Springs

●

Check for deformation or damage.

●

Measure free length and outer diameter.

ASSEMBLY

1.

Install new D-rings to servo piston retainer.

CAUTION:

●

Do not reuse D-rings.

●

Apply ATF to new D-rings.

●

Take care with the position of the new D-rings.
