REPAIR FOR COMPONENT PARTS

Revision: November 2006

2006 Altima

Set and align piston with retainer using suitable tool.

CAUTION:

This operation may be required in order to engage the pro-
trusions of the piston to the return springs correctly.

Install new driven plates, drive plates, retaining plate and dish
plate on transaxle case.

CAUTION:

Take care with the order of plates and direction of dish
plate.

Install snap ring using suitable tool.

CAUTION:

Do not expand snap ring excessively.

Measure clearance between driven plate and transaxle case. If
not within allowable limit, select proper retaining plate. (front
side)
