Diagnostic Procedure

1.
CHECK CAN COMMUNICATIN LINE
Perform the self-diagnosis check. Refer to
AT-49, "SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULT TEST MODE"
,
"Diagnostic Procedure Without CONSULT-II"
.
Is any malfunction of the "U1000 CAN COMM CIRCUIT" indicated?
YES
>> Check the CAN communication line. Refer to
AT-190, "DTC U1000 CAN COMMUNICATION
NO
>> GO TO 2.
2.
CHECK INPUT SIGNAL
With CONSULT-II
1.
Turn ignition switch to ON position.
(Do not start engine.)
2.
Select “TCM INPUT SIGNALS” in “DATA MONITOR” mode for “A/T” with CONSULT-II.
3.
Read out the value of "THROTTLE POSI".
OK or NG
OK
>> GO TO 4.
NG
>> GO TO 3.
3.
CHECK DTC WITH ECM
With CONSULT-II
1.
Turn ignition switch to ON position. (Do not start engine.)
2.
Select "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" mode for "Engine" with CON-
SULT-II. Refer to
EC-121, "SELF-DIAG RESULTS MODE"
OK or NG
OK
>> GO TO 4.
NG
>> Check the DTC detected item. GO TO

4.
CHECK DTC
Perform "DTC Confirmation Procedure". Refer to
AT-182, "Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Confirmation Pro-
