Connection diagrams
The UMG 510 provides 4 inputs for current and volt-
age measurement. 3 Channels form the main meas-
urement input for three-phase measurements. The
fourth channel is called auxiliary measurement and
can be used for an additional single- or three-phase
measurement (same line frequency). The auxiliary
input can be used as an alternative to measure the
neutral or protective ground current.

the connection diagram "3ph, 4w, 3m". See previous
pages 8..11 for other possible connections.
Initial operation

voltage. For power
quality analysis in
low-voltage distri-
bution grids the
setting "L-N" (line-
to-neutral) should
be appropriate.
