Step 2: Tuners Installaton
The mounting sleeves for tuners (13C) are drive-in sleeves which are pressed or knocked into the pre-drilled
holes on the headstock from the front. We recommend using a rubber mallet or a normal hammer with a wood
covering to protect the components. The sleeves should completely recessed in the hole.
Once the mounting sleeves are in place, the tuners can be aligned and mounted. To do this, the shafts of the
tuners are inserted into the headstock from the rear and the tuner housings on the rear are aligned by placing
them parallel to the centre line of the headstock.
Please note that for the low strings E to D the tuners left (13A) and for the high strings G to E the version right
(13B) should be used!
As soon as all of the tuners are aligned, the holes for the mounting brackets can be marked with a pencil,
pre-drilled with a 1.5 mm drill and screwed tight with the mounting screws (21) provided for this purpose.
