Ceramic charcoal grill
Before you begin…
Intended use
This grill is intended for grilling food (meat, fish, vegeta-
bles, etc.).
This product is not intended for commercial use. Gener-
ally acknowledged accident prevention regulations and
enclosed safety instructions must be observed.
Only perform work described in these instructions for
use. Any other use is improper. The manufacturer will
not assume responsibility for damage resulting from
such use.
What are the meanings of the symbols used?
Danger notices and information are clearly marked
throughout these instructions for use. The following
symbols are used:

General safety instructions
•
To operate this device safely, the user must have
read and understood these instructions for use
before using the device for the first time.
•
Observe all safety instructions! Failure to do so may
cause harm to you and others.
•
Retain all instructions for use, and safety instruc-
tions for future reference.
•
If you sell or pass the device on, you must also hand
over these operating instructions.
•
The device must only be used when it functions
properly. If the product or part of the product is
defective, it must be taken out of operation and dis-
posed of correctly.
•
Keep children away from the device! Keep the
device out of the way of children and other unauthor-
ised persons.
•
Do not overload the device. Do not use the device
for purposes for which it is not intended.
•
Exercise caution and only work when in good condi-
tion: If you are tired, ill, if you have ingested alcohol,
medication or illegal drugs, do not use the device, as
you are not in a condition to use it safely.
•
This product is not intended to be used by persons
(including children) or who are limited in their physi-
cal, sensory or mental capacities or who lack expe-
rience and/or knowledge of the product unless they
are supervised, or have been instructed on how to
use the product, by a person responsible for their
safety.
•
Ensure that children are not able to play with the
device.
•
Always comply with all applicable domestic and
international safety, health, and working regulations.
Device-specific safety instructions
•
All parts of the product must be correctly assembled.
•
Caution! May only be used under the supervision of
an adult
•
Heat the BBQ grill before you use it for the first time
and allow the fuel to glow for at least 30 min.
•
Use the grill outside and never in enclosed areas.
•
Never use the grill under a canopy.
•
Before using the grill, set it up in a safe and level
location that is preferably protected from wind.
•
Never pour lighter fluid or add coal soaked in lighter
fluid on/to hot or warm coal.
•
Keep a safety distance of 3 m to any flammable
materials.
•
Do not remove the ashes until the grill has cooled off
completely. Never dispose of hot ashes with regular
household waste. Danger of fire!
•
Do not clean the grill until the device has cooled off
completely.
•
Scratches, dents, chips, crazing, fading, and minor
cosmetic cracks of the exterior glaze that do not
affect the performance of the ceramic BBQ.
•
Upon close inspection, the finish of your ceramic
BBQ may appear to have crack lines. This is NO
cracking of the ceramic. This is known as “crazing”
and is caused by a different coefficient of expansion
between the glaze finish and the clay. The spider-
web pattern of “crazing” is different from a crack in
the aspect that it cannot be felt on the surface,
unless using a fingernail; however it does become
more visually apparent when the surface is dusty or
magnified. While this “crazing” may appear as
imperfections, crazing does not affect the perfor-
mance of life span of your ceramic BBQ; therefore it
can’t be claimed as a warranty issue. The process
of crazing effectively increases the toughness of the
unit.
• For open and closed grills as well as for perma-
nently installed grills:
Do not operate the grill in
closed and/or living spaces, for example, buildings,
tents, caravans, mobile homes, boats. There is a
risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Every care has been
taken at the factory to ensure that there are no
sharp edges on this unit. Be careful when han-
dling the individual components of this unit to
prevent accidents and injuries when assem-
bling and starting up the unit.
NOTICE! Hazard resulting from damage to
the product!
The product must be set up on a
level and sufficiently strong surface. If the sur-
face is insufficiently strong, the stability of the
product will be endangered.
