Trigger Control

Related Setting Items:

AcquisitionControl

The camera allows the following controls to be performed via external trigger signals.

TriggerSelector

Description

AcquisitionStart Start image acquisition in response to the external trigger signal input.

AcquisitionEnd

Stop image acquisition in response to the external trigger signal input.

FrameStart

Start capturing a one-frame image in response to the external trigger signal input.

Note:

The FrameStart Trigger can only be used when the

Exposure Mode

setting is set

to

Timed

.

Notes:

l

The settings for exposure control and triggers are related to each other. Be sure to configure
the settings described in

Exposure Mode

.

l

You can delay when exposure actually starts after a trigger is received for a specific amount
of time by configuring

TriggerDelay

.

Select the trigger type with TriggerSelector, and set the following items for each trigger.

TriggerMode

Switch enable or disable.

TriggerSource

Select the source signal (PulseGenerator0-3, UserOutput0-3, Software, Line5 Opt In,
Line7 Cxp In, Nand0 Out, Nand1 Out).

Note:

Trigger can be executed by TriggerSoftware[TriggerSelector] command only

when Software is set.

TriggerActivation Sets the polarity of the trigger signal.

TriggerDelay

You can specify a delay after receiving the trigger signal until the trigger is enabled.
