: The telephone can be equipped with a SANIK .4V 

650mAh Ni-MH battery, model SN-AAA65H-S-J1. which 
enables the telephone to operate for a short period in case 
of power failure. The battery is optional and not included.

Caution

Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an 
incorrect type. Use only the SANIK .4V 650mAh Ni-MH 
rechargeable battery pack, model SN-AAA65H-S-J1. 
Contact your local supplier for the back-up rechargeable 
battery.
You must disconnect the power supply unit and the 
telephone line cord before installing the back-up 
battery.
Do not dispose of the battery in fire. It may explode.  
Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.

 power adaptor with red RJ11 plug 

that came with the unit. Using other power adaptors 
may damage the unit and invalidate your warranty.
Plug the adaptor to a socket outlet that is close to the 
equipment and easily accessible.

1. Install the back-up battery (optional) following the 

procedure in section A.4.

. Connect one end of the coiled cord to the handset and 

plug the other end into the RJ9 jack of the base station. 

note:

 If desktop placement is preferred, please mount the 

table stand first. 

3. Connect the combo cord to the RJ45 jack of the combo 

jack. Connect the line jack to the RJ11 line jack on the 
base (16) and connect the DC jack to the base (17).

4. Plug the power supply unit into the main wall outlet and 

connect the other end to the RED jack of the combo jack.

5. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the 

BLACK jack of the combo jack; connect the other end of 
the telephone line cord to the country telephone plug 
adaptor (optional). 

6. Connect the country telephone plug adaptor to the wall 

outlet for telephone. 

A .1 .  Wall mounting

1. Pull the Combo cord downwards through the groove  

(as shown above) in order to let it out at the bottom and 
connect it to the Combo jack.

. Mount the base station by the enclosed screws and plugs 

for 6 mm drill.

A .2 .  desktop placement - table stand

Slide the canals of the table stand into the tracks of the back 
side on the base station. The table stand is mounted when 
you hear a click.

The table stand can easily be removed again:
-  Push the button inside the square hole at the bottom 

of the base station, using a pen or a finger, and pull the 
bracket away from the base station at the same time.
