CAUTION
Young children must be supervised when in the vicinity of this fire pit, when in
operation.
This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety and have the capacity to follow these instructions.
This product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention must be
given where children and vulnerable people are present.
This fire pit is not intended for use by young children or infirm people without
supervision.
1. This appliance is for outdoor use only, and shall NOT be used in a building, garage, or any
other enclosed area.
2. This fire pit is manufactured from Australian steel, it may have sharp edges, use gloves
when assembling the fire pit and base.
3. Do NOT use this outdoor fire pit for indoor heating. TOXIC carbon monoxide fumes can
accumulate and cause asphyxiation.
4. This outdoor fire pit is NOT for commercial use.
5. This outdoor fire pit is NOT to be operated by children.
6. This outdoor fire pit is NOT to be used in or on boats or recreational vehicles.
7. Always use in accordance with all applicable local, state and national codes.

8. When using this outdoor fire pit, exercise the same precautions you would with any open fire.
9. The use of alcohol, prescription or non-prescription drugs may impair the consumer’s
ability to properly assemble or safely operate this outdoor fire pit.
10. Do NOT use this outdoor fire pit without reading the entire instruction manual.
11. This outdoor fire pit is recommended for use with dry, seasoned hardwood. It will burn
hotter, more completely and create less smoke. The timber fuel needs to be spread evenly
as uneven heat may result in the warping of panels.
12. Do NOT burn manufactured logs, driftwood, trash, leaves, paper, cardboard, plywood,
painted or stained or pressure treated wood.
13. Do NOT alter this outdoor fire pit in any manner.
14. Do NOT use this outdoor fire pit until it is COMPLETELY assembled, and all parts are
securely fastened and tightened.
15. Do NOT store or use gasoline or other flammable vapours or liquids in the vicinity of this or
any other appliance.
16. Do NOT store or use an LP gas cylinder within 10 feet (3.05 m) of this outdoor fire pit while
it is in operation.
17. Do NOT use this outdoor fire pit near automobiles, trucks, vans or recreational vehicles.
18. Do NOT use in an explosive atmosphere. Keep outdoor fire pit area clear and free from
combustible materials, gasoline and other flammable liquids.
19. Do NOT use this outdoor fire pit under any overhead or near any unprotected combustible
constructions. Avoid using near or under overhanging trees and shrubs.
20. Always use this outdoor fire pit on a hard, level non-combustible surface such as concrete,
rock or stone. An asphalt or blacktop surface may not be acceptable for this purpose. Do
NOT use on wooden decks.

Fire Pit

The IXL difference
Our fire pits are locally designed and produced using Australian steel in our
manufacturing facility situated in Geelong, Victoria. Their creation was brought about
by a passionate team of engineers and designers who love a flame fire and are
enthusiastic campers, BBQ chefs and outdoors people.
Many hours were spent on the design and testing of our fire pit range to ensure their
construction meets the high-quality standards of the IXL brand.

Step 1
Position the 2 x Fire Pit Side Panels and align the screw holes to Fire Pit Body. Tightly fasten the
Fire Pit Side Panels to the Fire Pit Body using the M5 10mm Bolts and M5 Hex Nuts supplied.
Please note, the M5 Hex Nuts should be positioned inside the Fire Pit Body. (As shown in Fig. 1)
Step 2
The optional 2 x Rotisserie Brackets supplied can be fitted by locating & sliding onto the outside
edge of the Fire Pit assembly in the desired location. (As shown in Fig. 2)
The Grill/Hot Plate can be positioned and mounted by placing onto the edges of the assembled Fire
Pit. Please ensure the Grill Plate flanges are located on the
outside
of the Fire Pit assembly when
mounting. (As shown in Fig. 2.1)
