Safety Information
For safety, as well as for the longevity of your device, please
read these instructions carefully and adhere to them at all times.
• Do not disassemble. Unit contains no user-serviceable parts.
• Seek professional repair services or contact manufacturer.
• Do not replace internal battery with third-party batteries.
• Keep away from open flame and other heat sources.
• Do not charge in temperatures outside 30°-104°F range.
• If battery doesn’t reach full charge after 10 hours, disconnect
from power. Overcharging may cause battery to become hot,
rupture, or ignite.
• If you witness heat deformation or leakage, dispose of battery
promptly and properly following all local regulations. Do
not incinerate.
• In event of battery leak, do not allow liquid to contact skin or
eyes. If contact is made, wash area with plenty of water and
seek medical advice immediately.
• If battery is damaged and ignites, do not use water to extinguish
flames. Use fire extinguisher instead.
• Avoid exposure to extreme volume for extended periods.
• Unplug from wall outlet during lightning storms or when
unused for long periods of time.

Operation & Usage
Charging:
Charge battery fully before first use. In general, charge battery
when LED Indicator (6) flashes red, indicating low battery.
1 Connect smaller end of included charging cable to 5V In Port (12).
2 Connect other end to computer, or use adapter (not included) to
connect to wall outlet.
3 LED Indicator (6) will flash red while charging, and turn solid blue
when battery is fully charged.
Pairing Bluetooth:
Follow the steps below to connect your Bluetooth-enabled device
to your new speaker. With Bluetooth memory, the speaker will
remember previously paired devices and automatically connect to
the most recent one on power-up.
1 Press and hold Power Button (1) for 3 seconds. LED Indicator (6)
will flash blue.
2 Set your Bluetooth-enabled device to scan or in discoverable mode.
3 When “Boomering” appears, select it. If code is requested,
enter
“0000”.
4 Voice prompt will confirm that pairing is complete.
Auto-Connecting NFC:
NFC (near-field communication) is an alternative way of connecting Bluetooth
devices. This function requires both devices to have an NFC chip built in.
1 Press and hold Power Button (1) for 3 seconds. LED Indicator (6) will
flash
blue.
2 Enable your portable device’s NFC function.
3 Place your NFC-enabled device in close proximity of Built-In NFC Chip (8).
4 Follow your device’s on-screen instructions.
Connecting Auxiliary:
To play music from your portable device without the use of Bluetooth or
NFC, follow these steps:
1 Connect one end of included 3.5mm stereo cable to 3.5mm AUX Input (9).
2 Connect other end to headphone/audio out jack of your portable device.
3 Power on both devices.
4 If LED Indicator (6) is flashing blue – which means speaker is in default
pairing mode – press Mode Button (4) to switch to line-in mode.
Inserting Micro-SD Card:
Your new speaker can read MP3 and WMA music files from MicroSD
cards up to 32 gigabytes in size. Please note that they must be
formatted in either FAT or FAT32.
1 Insert card into MicroSD Card Slot (11) and push in until it clicks.
2 Press and hold Power Button (1) for 3 seconds. LED Indicator (6)
will flash blue.
3 If LED Indicator (6) is flashing blue – which means speaker is in
default pairing mode – press Mode Button (4) to switch to card
reader
mode.
Working the Controls:
1 Press Multifunction Button (5) to begin, pause or resume
music
playback.
2 To increase volume, press once or press and hold +/Next Button (2).
3 To decrease volume, press once or press and hold -/Previous
Button
(3).
4 To skip to next song, double-press +/Next Button (2).
5 To go back to previous song, double-press -/Previous Button (3).
Note! Incoming phone calls automatically pause music playback.
Playback automatically resumes after call completion.
6 To answer incoming call, press Multifunction Button (5) once.
7 To end active call, press Multifunction Button (5) once.
Charging External Device:
Another capability of your new speaker is to provide a basic charge for
your other rechargeable portable devices.
1 Connect USB end of your portable device’s charging cable to 5V Out
Port
(10).
2 Connect other end to your portable device.
3 If LED Indicator (6) is flashing blue – which means speaker is in
default pairing mode – press Mode Button (4) to switch to charging
out
mode.
4 LED Indicator (6) will turn red, and voice prompt will confirm
charging out mode.
Note! DO NOT charge your speaker while it is providing power for
another
device.
