3 Product Description

3.1 General description

Product description

The Model 3640 i-FRAME is a horizontal centrifugal pump that meets the latest editions of API 610 and
ISO 13709 and has these characteristics:

•

High-pressure

•

High-temperature

•

Two-stage

•

Between the bearings

Casing

The casing is centerline mounted with top-suction and top-discharge nozzles. The compression gaskets
at the three metal-to-metal sealing faces are fully confined.

The flanges are ASME Class 300 and 600 raised-face serrated with a 125-250 RMS finish. Other flanges
are also available:

ASME Class 600 ring joint

Impeller

The impeller is fully closed and key driven.

Seal chamber

The seal chamber meets API Edition dimensions for improved performance of mechanical seals. Cus-
tomer-selected cartridge mechanical seals are standard.
