5. INSTALLATION AND START-UP

 

5.1. TRANSMITTER INSTALLATION

 

The transmitter has to be located in an accessible area so that it can be easily handled. 

*It is recalled, in compliance with RD 171/2004 of Coordination of Business Activities, that you must 

guarantee  the  safety  conditions  for  the  maintenance  of  the  machine  in  issue,  especially  in  its 

accessibility and transit areas to the points where the operator must perform his work. 

In applications with external antennas, the antenna should be free of metal shields in order to achieve 

a better radio link and avoid communication cuts.

 

5.1.1. CTN MODEL FIXATION

The magnetic fixation should be placed on a metal surface with a MINIMUM THICKNESS OF 4 MM 

and where the two magnets make flat contact with the surface.
