TEST PORTS
There are 4 RF Coaxial connectors that can be used to monitor different radar internal signals
for test or educative purposes: JF1, JL1, JD1 and JD2 ARE HIROSE P/N: UFL-R-SMT (01)
JF1
: UFL connector to monitor Radar IF Signal
JL1
: UFL connector to monitor Transmitter VCO Control Signal
JD1
: UFL connector to monitor DDS Modulator Output Signal
JD2
: UFL connector to monitor DDS Modulator Synchronism Signal
SYNC: This is a Radar Board OUTPUT. The DDS can be programmed through SPI to make that
this pin is activated at the end of the modulation sweep or to indicate each frequency slope
made by the DDS during the modulation sweep.

RADAR SENSOR ORION
TEST PORTS are outputs with maximum +5Vdc
voltage level. PERMANENT DAMAGE WILL OCCUR if any voltage is applied to
these ports.

EEPROM
The on-board EEPROM, implemented with the AT24C01B serial EEPROM, provides 1KB of user
data storage. The serial EEPROM is connected through I2C interface and is address [0,0,1 ].
When EXPANSION-II (JC2 CONNECTOR) is used, the CONTROL ports are:
Signal Name
Mode 0 Name
Pin #
Description
I2C2 SDA
i2c2_sda
JC2:23
I2C2 DATA IN
I2C2 SCL
i2c2_scl
JC2:24
I2C2 CLOCK IN

If you use IGEP
™
v2 Processor board these ports correspond to
I2C2
of OMAP processor.
When EXPANSION-III (JC3 CONNECTOR) is used, the CONTROL ports are:
Signal Name
Mode 0 Name
Pin #
Description
I2C3 SDA
i2c2_sda
JC3:10
I2C3 DATA IN
I2C3 SCL
i2c2_scl
JC3:13
I2C3 CLOCK IN
