CLI Management by Telnet

You can use

TELNET

to configure the switch. The default values are:

Follow the steps below to access the console via Telnet.

Connect your PC to one of the Ethernet ports of the switch via an Ethernet cable.

Telnet to the IP address of the switch from the Windows

command (or from the MS-DOS

prompt).

The Console login screen appears. Use the keyboard to enter the Console Username and Password,
then

press “Enter”. This is the same as the Web Browser password. The default Username is

“admin” and the default Password is “admin”.
