Inserting the SIM card into the tray
Note!
The tray placed in the SIM card slot must be turned with the SIM card contact side facing up. Fail-
ure to observe this requirement may result in the damage of the SIM card and tray.
3.2. Device mounting
There are two ways of mounting the modem on DIN rail as well as mounting on a wall using self-tapping
screws.
The special clips on the side allow you to mount the modem on DIN rail with no extra attachments - just snap
the modem side clips on the DIN rail (see Fig. 3.4).
To mount the modem on a DIN rail on the front side, use two WAGO mounting brackets (see Fig. 3.5). Fas-
ten the mounting brackets with four Din7982 ST2.2x9 self-tapping screws at the rear side of the device (the
housing is provided with 4 holes). The mounting brackets and self-tapping screws are not included in the pack-
age and to be purchased separately from the manufacturer.
To mount the modem on a wall, use self-tapping screws: the modem housing is provided with two holes for
them (see Fig. 3.6). It is recommended to use the Din7981 ST2.9x25 self-tapping screws.
The dimensions of the device (in mm), clips and holes for self-tapping screws are illustrated in the drawing
figure (see Fig. 3.3).
