Description
IOGEAR's Bluetooth Printing Kit allows you to print wirelessly from your computer or Bluetooth-enabled PDA to a USB or
parallel printer. Now you do not have to bother plugging in and unplugging a printer every time you want to use it. You
can wirelessly print to your printer without ever having to plug in another cable. The Bluetooth Printer Adapter complies
with USB 1.1, IEEE 1284, and the Bluetooth 1.2 specifications and allows your printer to be recognized and printed to
over a Bluetooth Personal Area Network. It supports data transmission rates of up to 723 Kbps, and a wireless access
range of up to 66ft (20 meters).
The USB adapter allows any computer with USB connections to become a Bluetooth-enabled computer and communicate
with other Bluetooth enabled-computers and devices without cable connections. It complies with Bluetooth 1.2 and USB
1.1 specifications, and provides up to 723 Kbps data rate at ranges up to 66 feet. It also enables wireless Personal Area
Network (PAN) connectivity to Bluetooth-enabled devices such as PDAs, printers, mobile phones, computers, etc.
The Bluetooth Printer Adapter supports HCRP (Hardcopy Cable Replacement Profile) and SPP (Serial Port Profile), and
allows up to 7 PCs or PDAs to share a printer. It supports Windows-based computers and PDAs.
