Adjust
protocol time according to the expected migration time of the target fragment to the
reference line.
4.
Run the gel
protocol by pressing
Start run.
The run stops automatically after the programmed
time has elapsed.
Check status
1.
Check the gel status by activating the Back light.
Monitor the gel during the run to avoid the target fragment missing the recovery well
2.
Pause the gel when the band of interest reaches the
reference line (RF) near the row of recovery wells.
IMPORTANT!
Put on orange Safe Imager
™
viewing
glasses prior to proceeding to further steps. Reduce
ambient light or work in dark room for better visibility.
