4.1. BIOS Requirements

4.1.1. Rom Flash
4.1.1.1. Update under normal mode:
I. Under DOS Environment:
1) Copy all the files in Release Package to a bootable storage.
2) Plug the bootable storage (ex :USB disk or floppy) and boot to DOS prompt.
3) Execute FBIOS.BAT
input "FBIOS 1" to Update system BIOS.
input "FBIOS 2" to Update both system BIOS and ME.
4) AC power off.
5) AC Power on,Re-start system & load BIOS default value.
II. Under EFI:shell Environment:
1) Copy all the files in Release Package to a bootable storage.
2) Plug the bootable storage (ex :USB disk or floppy) and boot to EFI:shell.
3) Goto afuefi64 folder.
4) Execute fbiosefi.nsh
input " fbiosefi.nsh 1" to Update system BIOS.
input " fbiosefi.nsh 2" to Update both system BIOS and ME.
5) AC power off.
6) AC Power on,Re-start system & load BIOS default value.
III. Under Windows Environment:
1) Boot to Windows , copy all the files in Release Package to OS.
2) Run cmd tool, goto the location of Release Package.
3) Goto afuwin64 folder.
4) Execute fbioswin.bat
input " fbioswin.bat 1" to Update system BIOS.
input " fbioswin.bat 2" to Update both system BIOS and ME.
5) AC power off.
6) AC Power on,Re-start system & load BIOS default value.
IV. Under Linux Environment:
1) Boot to Linux as root user, copy all the files in Release Package to OS.
2) Goto the location of Release Package, open a terminal.
3) Goto afulnx64 folder.
4) Execute fbioslnx.sh
input " fbioslnx.sh 1" to Update system BIOS.
input " fbioslnx.sh 2" to Update both system BIOS and ME.
5) AC power off .
