Hardware Replacement Kit
Removing/Installing the Liftarm Assembly
NOTE:
For
this
procedure,
refer
to
1. Remove
the
hardware
that
secures
the
liftarm
assembly
to
the
mast
assembly
on
both
the
right
and
left
hand
side
of
the
patient
lift.
A. Remove
the
tube
plugs
from
both
sides
of
the
liftarm
assembly
with
the
tip
of
a
screwdriver.
B. Remove
the
socket
head
screws,
plain
washers
and
bushings
that
secure
the
liftarm
assembly
to
the
mast
assembly.
C. Lift
the
liftarm
assembly
away
from
the
mast
assembly.
Discard
the
existing
hardware
and
liftarm
assembly.
2. Install
the
replacement
liftarm
assembly.
A. Put
a
new
nylon
washer
on
the
inside
of
the
liftarm
assembly
mounting
tube.

for
part
orientation.
B. Put
the
liftarm
assembly
into
place
on
the
mast
assembly.
C. On
each
side
of
the
patient
lift,
attach
the
liftarm
assembly
to
the
mast
assembly
with
a
socket
head
screw,
plain
washer
and
bushings.

Installing the Sling Knobs and Hook Caps
NOTE:
For
this
procedure,
refer
to
1. Attach
the
sling
knob
to
the
liftarm
assembly
with
a
socket
head
screw,
step
washer
and
nut.
Push
the
knob
cap
into
the
opening
at
the
top
of
the
sling
knob.
2. Repeat
STEP
1
to
install
the
other
sling
knob.
3. Snap
the
hook
caps
over
the
hooks
on
the
end
of
the
lift
arm
assembly.
