11.1 Reliant Scale RLS6
The Reliant Scale is a compact precision scale system designed specifically for the Invacare patient lift system.

11.1.1 Removing the Hanger Bar
1. Remove the shoulder bolt, locknut, pinch guard, and washer that secure the hanger bar to the hanger bar bracket.
Note the hanger bar hardware varies. For more information, see 10.6 Replacing the Hanger Bar, page 55
.
Save the shoulder bolt to secure the Reliant Scale to the boom. The pinch guard will not be used when the scale is
installed. Save the pinch guard for future use of the hanger bar without the scale.
Removing the hanger bar hardware will release the hanger bar, two nylon washers and the hanger bar pin. Save the
hanger bar pin and the two nylon washers for future use of the hanger bar without the scale.
