6.2.1 Charging the Battery
Invacare recommends the battery be recharged
daily to prolong battery life.
An audible alarm will sound (horn will beep) when
the battery is low.
1. Lift up on the handle on the back of the battery.
2. Lift the battery up and out, away from the control
box.
CAUTION!
-Make sure there is an audible click when
mounting the battery on the battery charger to
confirm proper mounting; otherwise, injury or
damage may occur.
3. Place the battery on the battery charger as shown.
Make sure there is an audible click.
The charge LED will illuminate. When charging is
complete, the charge LED will stop illuminating. A
full recharge will take approximately four hours.
