3 Product Overview
3.1 Intended Use
This mattress is intended to deliver effective pressure
reduction and postural support to users. It is intended to be
used in conjunction with an appropriately sized bed frame as
part of an overall pressure injury prevention program of care.
3.2 Indications
Suitable for users with a low risk of developing pressure
injuries and users who require a comfortable mattress.
Dacapo Combi, Comfort Plus, Square, 2Sided, Premier, Heavy
User and Heavy User Light are pressure injury-preventive and
can be used in cases of low to medium risk of developing
pressure injuries and for the care of pressure injuries at
stage 1 or 2.
Contraindications
Not suitable for users with more severe pressure injuries.

3.5 Mattresses
The mattresses offer pressure reducing qualities, specific
to the individual’s needs. By promoting even weight
distribution, they reduce tissue pressure at potentially
vulnerable areas.
Dacapo Standard
The mattress satisfies basic requirements for good
cushioning. The high density, high resilience foam provides a
firm supportive base.
Dacapo Basic
The mattress fully satisfies basic comfort and hygiene
requirements for a sleeping surface. The high density, high
resilience foam provides a firm supportive base.
Dacapo Basic Low
The high density, high resilience foam provides a firm
supportive base.
Dacapo Child
The foam core is made from environmentally friendly organic
foam. The high density of the foam allows for a good
pressure distribution.
Dacapo Square
The mattress is constructed from a top layer of
environmentally friendly organic foam and a base of high
resilience foam. The unique square patterned body contour
cut into the top layer, minimises surface pressure, which
allows pressure relief and body pressure equalisation.
Dacapo Combi
The mattress is constructed from a top layer of visco-elastic
foam and is combined with a base of high resilience foam.
The top foam is a heat-sensitive material which works in
conjunction with body temperature and movement, while
the base of high resilience foam ensures strength and robust
quality.

The foam core is made from environmentally friendly organic
foam. The high density of the foam allows for a good
