Before transporting your mobility device, make sure the
motors are engaged and that the remote is switched off.
Invacare strongly recommends that you additionally
disconnect or remove the batteries. Refer to Removing
the batteries.

Invacare strongly recommends securing the mobility
device to the floor of the transporting vehicle.
8.4.1 Preparing the wheelchair for transport without
occupant
Please proceed as follows to prepare the wheelchair for
transport:
1.
Remove legrests (please refer to the chapter concerning
legrests)
2.
Remove the battery case (not possible for versions with
rear shroud and fixed batteries)
3.
Tip the backrest forwards
4.
Remove the seat if necessary (not possible for versions
with rear shroud and fixed batteries)
The wheelchair is reassembled in reverse order to the above.
8.4.2 Removing the battery boxes
(not possible for versions with rear shroud and fixed
batteries)
1.
Remove the safety clip for the battery belt (1).
2.
Pull the rear battery box backwards using the belt. The
locking system opens automatically when doing so.
