6.10.6 Replacing Drive Wheel (5–Screw Installation)
This chapter deals with drive wheels that are installed with four or five screws.
CAUTION!
Risk of Crushing to Hands and Feet by Weight of Mobility Device
– Pay attention to hand and feet.
– Use proper lifting techniques.
CAUTION!
Risk of Uncontrolled Movement of Mobility Device
– Turn off power supply (ON/OFF key).
– Engage drive.
– Before raising mobility device, secure wheels by blocking them with wedges.
– Prevent the mobility device tipping by propping it up on a wooden block which is long and wide enough under
the battery case. If the wooden block is too short or too high, the mobility device can still tip.
