a. Push the foot section towards the head section until
the frame tubes are touching.
b. Secure the head and foot section on each side with
the finger screw

If the bed is provided with a cable actuated foot
section, follow steps 5–10.
5. Unfasten the cable from the head section.
6.
Lift the foot section and lay cable over tube and guide
pulley.
7. Lower the foot section and raise the knee pivot point.
8.
Attach the cable fitting to the bottom hole of the deck
bracket with the clevis pin provided and make sure the
head of the clevis pin is on the same side as the rastofix
deck brackets.
9.
Fix the clevis pin with the hitch pin.
10.
Lower the knee pivot point and ensure the cable and
pin are mounted properly.
3.4 Control Box
The control box is latched to the lift motor.
The control box A is provided with a locking cam B and a
label with symbols showing where to connect the motor
plugs:
• Backrest motor C
• Thigh section’s motor
D
• Lift motor E
• not used F
• Hand control G
3.5 Wiring
IMPORTANT!
– The cables must be mounted in such a way
that they are kept clear off the floor and do
not block the castors. Mount the mains cable
on the hook for this purpose, see image.
