Calf pad adjustment
The calf pad

swings away during transfers and has height
adjustment options.
Height adjustment:

Version 1

After loosening the fixing screw

adjust to the
desired height and firmly tighten the fixing screw.

Version 2

After loosening the fixing screw

adjust to the
desired height and firmly tighten the fixing screw.
The calf pad
E
has three depth adjustment options.
•
Version 2 only
1.
After loosening the fixing bolt adjust to the desired
depth and firmly tighten the fixing bolt.
Invacare recommends that depth adjustment is carried out
by an authorized dealer.
Foot plate adjustment
There are three different foot plates available.

Height adjustable foot plates, version 1

Loosening the fixing bolt

with 10 mm spanner
or hand screw

Adjust into one of four preset positions and tighten
the fixing bolt (5 Nm)

Adjust into the angle and depth (if fitted) positions
and firmly tighten the screw (12 Nm)

Invacare recommends that foot plate adjustment is carried
out by an authorized dealer.
To ensure a good position of the feet, two types
of straps can be provided; the heel strap (serial)
and the calf strap (optional) attached to the leg rest
support. Both adjustable by Velcro® fasteners.
3.9 Anti-tipper ALBER and standard
An anti-tipper prevents the wheelchair from tipping
backwards.
If your wheelchair is equipped with ALBER anti-tippers (with
jack-up function), refer to Anti-tippers chapter, ALBER esprit
user manual.
WARNING!
Risk of overturning
Anti-tippers that are incorrectly set or no longer
working can lead to overturning.
– Always check that the anti-tipper is working
before using the wheelchair and have it set
or readjusted by an authorized dealer when
required.
