The following information appears on the LCD
Display (3) from power-up through one automatic
degaussing cycle:
LCD DISPLAY DESCRIPTION
Step 1:
Press POWER button (1) ON
Displays Manufacturer.
Displays Degausser Model.
Displays current firmware version.
Displays total erasing cycles. Number on
left indicates number of times the counter
reached 50,000.
Ready for media to be placed in the Me -
dia Drawer. Counter for erase cycles from
power up.
Step 2:
Open Media drawer (2),
insert media and close drawer
Close the drawer. The erase cycle has
startes automatically.
Displays capacitor charging status.
Displays erasure status.
Visual indicator of erasing field strength
and erasure results.
Step 3:
Open drawer and remove media
Opening the drawer completes the cycle
and Session # will appear.
Ready for next cycle. Closing the drawer
starts the next cycle.
