Scintillation Filter
This filter is for use with Intevac's electron-bombarded camera models, and is not
applicable to the MicroVista
®
cameras.
Histogram Equalization
This section enables automatic contrast adjustment using the image histogram to
provide better images of overexposed or underexposed video. This will distribute
output pixel values so that contrast is enhanced in low-contrast scenes, and
brighten dark images to make the full scene clearly visible in the display. In very
dark scenes histogram equalization will cause the fundamental noise floor to
become more visible.
