Installation and maintenance tasks on 400-V conveyor systems while they are in operation can
cause life-threatening electrocution and serious crushing.

Power down the entire conveyor module and ensure that it cannot be started accidentally.

Fasten screws with a tightening torque of 19 Nm.

Requirement:

The module is shut down.

Remove cover of the return axle to be replaced,

see "Removing/installing cover plates at

return axles", page 52

Unscrew the screws (1) and remove return axle (4).

Properly dispose of the old return axle.

Fasten the new return axle (4) with screws (1) in the side frame (2).

Install the cover of the return axle in reverse order.
