Locate area to install indoor unit.

 

o

 

Choose an area where the wall is plumb and determine how to best run 
the unit interconnects. 

 

o

 

Ensure that all panels/covers can be removed for service as required. 

 

o

  Indoor unit must be located a minimum of 4

’ from the floor and 6” from the 

ceiling.  

o

  Ensure that no obstacles to airflow are directly in front of the unit for a 

minimum of 16

’.  

o

  Do not install the indoor unit in areas exposed to high humidity (RH of 

80% plus), direct sunlight and direct heat from stoves or other devices. 

o

  Locate the outdoor unit using the following clearances:
