 Hardware Manual: Part Number 10554 Rev C., iQue Maintenance: Fluidics Maintenance

Removing the Optics Cover

Prior to performing the first two steps of the fluidics maintenance procedure, the optics cover must be removed from 

the detector. It is not necessary to shut down the detector before doing this as the optics cover contains an interlock 

that automatically keeps the system from running when the cover is off.

1.

  Open the lid of the iQue to expose the detector area. Locate the optics cover.

2. 

Using the 3mm hex key that came with the system, loosen the two captive screws that secure the optics 

cover.

3.

  Gently lift the optics cover off the detector area.
