iQue Fluids
Overview
This procedure explains how to prepare the fluids that are required for iQue operation and how to properly fill the
iQue’s fluid bottles and troughs.
Preparing the Fluids
The iQue requires three special fluids. The first is Sheath Fluid, which is used to hydrodynamically focus the samples.
The second and third solutions are Decontamination and Cleaning Solution. These are always used in combination
and followed by water.

A mildly basic solution used to clean and
decontaminate the system.
180 mL water* + 1 bottle IntelliCyt
Decontamination Concentrate
Cleaning Solution
Part #: 90079
A mildly acidic and surfactant solution used to
neutralize the decontamination solution and
clean the system.
200 mL water* + 3 mL pipetted IntelliCyt
Cleaning Concentrate
* For all iQue fluids, HPLC reagent grade filtered, distilled water (0.22 μm filter), or equivalent is recommended. Unfiltered distilled water is
acceptable.
