5. Configuring the IVP 4101 PET smart sensor (for cards in
version 4410350/5 and firmware 3.0.0)
After the sensor is properly installed, make the following adjustments according to the information below:
5.1. Sensitivity adjustment of the smart IVP 4101 PET sensor
The SENS jumper (JP1) is used to control the detection sensitivity. With jumper JP1 open the sensor provides maxi-
mum sensitivity. With jumper JP1 closed the sensor provides minimum sensitivity. Closed factory default.
5.2. Setting the operating mode of the smart IVP 4101 PET sensor
Via the ECO/CONT jumper (JP2), select between intelligent continuous mode and economy mode. With jumper JP2
open the sensor is in intelligent continuous mode. With jumper JP2 closed, the sensor is in economy mode. Factory
default: closed.
After energized, the sensor will operate in the test period for 15 minutes so that the installer can make all the sensor
positioning adjustments. During this period, at any motion detection, the LED lights up and a trigger is generated.
Then the sensor will operate according to the configured mode.
Intelligent Continuous Mode:
the sensor takes a reading of the environment and generates a trigger for 3 move-
ments, after this trigger generation the sensor goes into hibernation for 2 minutes. During this period, the indication
LED is not activated and no new triggers are generated, as a notification has just been sent to the control panel. After
the sleep time, the sensor is monitoring the environment until detecting 3 more events.
Note:
this mode of operation causes a greater consumption of battery power, especially where there is a large
number of people.

The sensor detects (lights the
LED and generates a trigger) for
the next 3 movements, after
which it goes into hibernation.
During this period the
LED does not light and
no new triggers are
generated.
After the
hibernation time,
the sensor returns to
detect and generate
triggers in the
central, starting the
cycle again.

Após colocar a
bateria, o LED
fica piscando
e não há
detecção.
A qualquer
detecção o LED
acende e gera
um disparo.
O sensor detecta (acende o LED
e gera um disparo) para os
próximos 3 movimentos, após,
entra em hibernação.
Durante esse período o
LED não acende e não
são gerados novos
disparos.
Passando o tempo
de hibernação o
sensor volta a
detectar e gerar
disparos na
central, iniciando o
ciclo novamente.
