- User’s Guide
•
Interrupt generation, which can be enabled or masked, set or cleared. Since this device
contains multiple functions, refer to the Philips data sheet for instructions on using the
interrupt.
•
General-purpose I/O (GPIO) pins, programmable via the AC’97 interface. For more
information on using this GPIO, refer to the Philips data sheet and to the Intel
®
PXA270
Processor schematic diagram.
2.2.11
Touch-Screen Controllers
The kit supports the Philips UCB1400 codec board touch screen controllers.
UCB1400
The
default
touch-screen controller, contained in the Philips UCB1400, communicates with the
Intel
®
PXA270 Processor through the AC97 controller. This is a four-wire resistive controller
supporting position, pressure, and plate resistance measurements.
2.2.12
Keypad and Scroll-Wheel Interface
The panel-mounted Fastap* keypad and scroll wheel use the Intel
®
PXA270 Processor Keypad
Interface, mapped as follows:
•
The 75-button, 7x7 matrix keypad maps to the Intel
®
PXA270 Processor matrix signals
MKIN<7:0> and MKOUT<7:0>.
illustrates this keypad.
•
The rotary scroll wheel maps to the Intel
®
PXA270 Processor signals DKIN<1:0>. The push-
button maps to a matrix key.
