Intel® Remote Management Module 4 Lite (Intel® RMM4 Lite) Key

Anti-static wrist strap and conductive workbench pad (recommended)

Intel® RMM4 Lite Key Installation

1.
Power off the system and disconnect the AC power cord.
2.
Remove the system top cover (see Section 2.2.1).
3.
Remove the riser bracket assembly from riser slot 1 (see section 3.2.4). Skip this step if no PCIe* add-in
cards are installed on riser 1.
4.
Remove the Intel® RMM4 Lite key from its packaging.
5.
Locate the Intel® RMM4 Lite connector on the server board between the first two PCIe* slots.
6.
Place the Intel® RMM4 Lite key over the connector and match the orientation of the key to that of the
connector.
7.
Press the key down onto the connector.

Intel® RMM4 Lite Key Removal
1.
Power off the system and disconnect the AC power cord.
2.
Remove the system top cover (see Section 2.2.1).
3.
Remove the riser bracket assembly from riser slot 1 (see section 3.2.4). Skip this step if no PCIe* add-in
cards are installed on riser 1.
4.
Carefully grasp the key and pull it up until it disengages from the connector.
