Displaying Register Contents

When program execution is stopped, you can display register contents directly from instruction 
context in a thread window. 

To do this:

1. Position the cursor over the register symbol.

2. Wait for a moment. 

The Workbench displays the contents of the register assigned to that symbol as a pop-up 
window beneath the cursor. 

Hex or Decimal Display:

To control whether the data is displayed in decimal or hexadecimal format:

1. Right-click in the thread window.

2. Select or clear 

Hexadecimal Data

 on the shortcut menu.
