Supplying Power in Case of Power Breakdown
Manufacturers of batteries offer fitting 9V block batteries like 6LR61 (alkaline type),
6F22 (zinc-carbon), 6AM6, 522.
Take
an adapter cable (included in system delivery) and a loaded 9 V block
battery. Access to FlatControl is required.
1.
Connect adapter cable and battery Take notice of the different sizes of the
sockets for negative and positive battery terminal.
2.
Plug adapter cable into the socket at the bottom of the operating unit FlatControl.

You successfully supply the system with power.

Displaying Status / Info about the System
1.
Press key
Enter
and release it after a second.
The system checks its status. The display shows date and time.

The display shows:
- System Check
- VdS class of the system
- State of locks (open / middle pos. / closed)
- State of system (unlocked / partly locked / locked)
- State of an optional burglar alarm system (armed /disarmed)
- Software version of operating unit and locks
- Return code, if currently available
You have successfully displayed status and software information about the system.
